Generating License Information

The license server can be contacted with the PolySync license tool. Once called, the license tool attempts to contact the license server. It will download the license if it exists on the server, or it will create a new entry in the license server so that PolySync engineers can administer license rights. Next it prints the local host's information. The output should be supplied to support engineers while creating a PolySync support ticket. ### License tool output example ```bash $ polysync-license-tool -a ***************************** *** PolySync License Tool *** API Build Version: 2.0.0-1449243079 Host ID: '(Ethernet) DAXX9D3X0XXE' Installation Directory (PSYNC_HOME): '/usr/local/polysync' System Design File: '/usr/local/polysync/db/psync.sdf' Record and Replay Sessions Directory: '/usr/local/polysync/rnr_logs' IP Address: '127.0.0.1' License Server: 'not used' License file specified in SDF: 'not used' Current license status: valid checking for available capabilities lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 Dec 15 2015 /etc/alternatives/x-www-browser -> /usr/bin/google-chrome-stable ***************************** ```
